Overview:
A 4-week long Afro Cuban Rumba series taught by Yenne Guibert, the founder of the highest regarded folkloric dance group in Havana,Cuba.
The curriculum includes AfroCuban specific body movement, vocabularies, and phrases to teach you the exact motions utilized. Then, we will build a short but comprehensive class presentation routine over the 4 weeks. The series allows dancers to work on material progressively. Series registered dancers will have the opportunity to participate in the ‘Rumba Challenge’ to perform a rumba routine at a local club at the end of the series.
