WOW – GREAT salsa back in the Bay Area! This club rocks and is run by the “Father” of West Coast salsa. The just released CD titled “Salsa la Bahia” (2 CDs) has an insert that tells all about the history of Cesar’s Latin clubs in San Francisco and gives him complete credit for bringing salsa to the West Coast.
This is a “must visit” 5 star club!

This new spot has a fabulous large dance floor and great music (the night I was there Roger Glenn, Chuchito Valdez, “Tito” Gonzalez, Edgardo Cambon were among the players). Cesar is a congenial, welcoming host. Check this place out and spread the word!

First live salsa dance hall I went to as a 21 year old in the late 60s, early 70s. I have never found the same vibe anywhere including Miami where I live now. It was always a dance party all night, danced with beautiful Latinos from all around the world. It was fantastic and now a legend. Mucho cariño a Cesar. Bless
Huge floor but I was very disappointed…it wasn’t what I expected from “the godfather of SF Salsa”.
