TUMBAO Latin Fridays is the ultimate destination for salsa and bachata lovers in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Produced by AZSalsa.net since 2007, it’s the oldest salsa dancing event in Phoenix and was voted Best of Phoenix 2015: Best Latin Night.
The night starts with two complementary (with paid cover charge) salsa lessons taught by top salsa instructors in town rotating weekly along with visiting instructors, catering to both beginning and intermediate-advanced levels. No partner is necessary.
After the lessons, the salsa party kicks off with house DJ Ben and guest DJs, playing classics and modern salsa dura, salsa romántica hits, Dominican and contemporary bachata, and a splash of merengue tunes for dancers.
The venue features a polished epoxy dance floor and a comfortable, air-conditioned environment. Free parking is available, and drink specials along with a salsa night menu are offered until midnight.
