About this event

The Brisbane Latin Dance Festival is a four-day, four-night celebration of Latin dance and culture, taking place this December at the stunning Sea World Resort & Conference Centre on the Gold Coast. Partnered with the World Salsa Solo competition, this event offers a dynamic program filled with workshops, performances, competitions, and social dancing.

Dancers of all levels can enjoy a wide range of workshops covering Salsa/Mambo, Bachata, Cha-Cha-Cha, Samba, Afro-Cuban, Reggaeton, and more—led by some of the best international and Australian instructors. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine advanced techniques, there’s something for everyone.

The festival also hosts the prestigious World Salsa Solo competition, where solo performers from around the globe compete for titles in a high-energy, multi-day showdown. Spectacular evening showcases and finals add to the excitement, drawing audiences and dancers alike.

Each night, the venue transforms into a Latin dance party with multiple rooms dedicated to Salsa and Bachata. World-class DJs keep the music going late into the night, creating the perfect atmosphere to connect, celebrate, and dance.

The Brisbane Latin Dance Festival is more than just an event—it’s a community experience, blending passion, rhythm, and movement into an unforgettable long weekend. Early-bird passes are limited, so dancers are encouraged to secure their tickets early for this landmark event in the Australian Latin dance calendar.
