Salsa Sundays at The Night Cat is a weekly celebration of Latin dance in Fitzroy, Melbourne. Held every Sunday evening at the iconic Night Cat venue, this event combines live music, structured classes, and social dancing for a lively and inclusive experience.
The night kicks off with a beginner-friendly Bachata class at 7:00 PM, followed by a Salsa class at 8:00 PM, both designed to introduce fundamental techniques in a fun and supportive environment—no partner or booking required. After the lessons, the venue comes alive with a live Latin band playing from around 9:00 PM, offering a rich and authentic soundtrack that keeps dancers on the floor into the night.
