The Bachata Vida Summer Festival (BVSF) is a high-energy, four-day Latin dance extravaganza held each August in Virginia Beach, VA. Designed for dancers of all levels, this immersive experience brings together an incredible lineup of international instructors, top DJs, and an enthusiastic community of dance lovers.
With over 40 hours of dance, the festival offers comprehensive workshops in Bachata, Salsa, Zouk, and more. There’s a dedicated beginner track to help newcomers ease into the scene, while advanced dancers can challenge themselves with intricate footwork and styling sessions. Special workshops also cover Latin Hustle, Twerk, and other vibrant styles.
The evenings heat up with themed parties running until 4:00 AM, including a Pajama Pre-Party, Animal Print Night, and a lively Sunrise Beach Social. Attendees enjoy live concerts, silent discos, two epic pool parties, and performances by world-renowned dance artists.
Competitions like Jack & Jill and solo showcases add a dose of excitement, while local vendors, food trucks, and the beachside setting offer everything needed for an unforgettable weekend. Host hotels are just steps away, making it easy to stay connected to the action.
