The Get Up and Dance (GUAD) Latin Social is a high-energy monthly event held every 4th Friday at the Get Up and Dance Studio in Atlanta. Designed for dancers of all levels, this welcoming social blends movement, rhythm, and community in an inclusive and vibrant setting.
The evening kicks off at 8:00 PM with a featured Latin dance class—often cha cha cha—that requires no partner or pre-registration. Following the lesson, the floor opens up for social dancing until 11:30 PM, with DJ Vic spinning a dynamic mix of salsa, bachata, and cha cha cha to keep the energy high.
Most editions also feature special performances around 10:15 PM, adding an extra spark with exciting showcases by local artists and dance groups.
Entry options include $10 for the class, $12 for the social, or $15 for both. The event is BYOB with ample parking available, making it an easy and fun night out for Atlanta’s Latin dance community.
