Salsa4Water Berlin offers weekly Cuban salsa classes in a welcoming, volunteer-run community. Classes are open to everyone regardless of background, age, or experience level. All profits support Welthungerhilfe’s clean water and sanitation projects in Malawi.
There are four class levels: Absolute Beginners, Beginners 2, Improvers 1, and Improvers 2. The Absolute Beginners class teaches the basic step ‘Guapea’ and is free, repeatable weekly. Beginners 2 builds upon the basics with moves like ‘Dile que No’ and ‘Dame.’ Improvers 1 follows a 6-week rotating curriculum covering key moves and variations. Improvers 2 offers monthly thematic combinations that reinforce prior learning and introduce transitions and body movement.
No partner or registration is needed. Students are encouraged to try different levels and learn at their own pace. Partner rotation during class facilitates meeting new people and improving quickly.
