Latin Sunday at Cuba-Bar is a consistent and welcoming Latin dance evening in Cologne, held every Sunday at this cozy venue in the heart of the city. The night begins with beginner-friendly workshops, including Bachata, Salsa, and a special Salsa Rueda session for dancers with at least nine months of experience. These classes are ideal for those looking to improve their fundamentals while meeting new people in a casual setting.
After the workshops, the venue transforms into a lively social party that continues into the early hours. The music spans Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, and other Latin rhythms, catering to a broad crowd of local dancers and international guests. The dance floor stays busy thanks to a supportive community, friendly instructors, and an accessible vibe that encourages participation at all levels.
Workshops start at 6:00 PM (Bachata), followed by Salsa at 6:50 PM, and Salsa Rueda at 7:40 PM. The party kicks off around 8:00 PM and goes until 1:00 AM. Entry is €10 per workshop and includes access to the social. No partner required. Drinks available at the bar.
Cuba-Bar is located on Zülpicher Straße in Cologne’s vibrant student district, making it easy to reach by tram or foot.
