Salsa and Kizomba Night is a weekly Thursday dance event featuring a 50/50 mix of salsa and kizomba music. Held at Álfabakka12 in Reykjavík, this social offers a class followed by an energetic evening of social dancing.
The night begins at 7:45 PM with a dance class taught by professional instructors, and the social runs from 8:15 PM to 10:30 PM. The music is a balanced rotation of salsa and kizomba, with a focus on smooth transitions and flow on the dancefloor.
Entry costs 1,500 ISK per person, with discounted admission of 1,200 ISK available for advance payment via bank transfer. The venue is located at Álfabakka 12 in Mjódd, Reykjavík, just behind the Glæsibær shopping center. Free parking is available behind the venue, and the entrance is located by the dance studio stairs.
All levels are welcome, and no partner is required. The event provides a friendly, social atmosphere for both new and experienced dancers to enjoy Latin rhythms in a welcoming community.
