Latin Street Music & Dancing presents Tropical Saturdays at Ostras Lounge, a vibrant weekly salsa social held every Saturday evening in Des Plaines.
Each event begins at 9:00 PM with a free salsa lesson (typically beginner-friendly), followed by open-format social dancing featuring salsa, bachata, cumbia, and tropical rhythms until 2:00 AM.
DJ Frankie J keeps the energy high with lively beats, and on June 21, 2025, the lesson was led by Andres Meneses.
The venue offers drink specials—like Modelo & Corona buckets and specialty cocktails—as well as convenient paid parking nearby.
This 21+ event features a $10 entertainment fee at the door, with cashless entry.
