LA Queer Weekender 2026 is a two-day salsa and bachata festival created for LGBTQIA+ communities in and around Los Angeles. The event brings dancers together for a weekend of classes, performances, showcases, and social dancing in a welcoming community-focused setting.
Guests can join for the full weekend or choose from single-day passes, beginner bootcamp options, or night passes for the social dancing and showcase portion of the event. Programming includes salsa and bachata instruction, opportunities to watch performances, and plenty of time to dance socially with other attendees.
The event takes place aboard The Queen Mary in Long Beach, giving the weekend a memorable waterfront setting. It is organized through Alliance Dance Academy and is designed to celebrate connection, learning, and joyful dancing across the queer Latin dance community.
