The Boston Calendar presents Bachata by the River with Salsa Corner Magazine—a free, outdoor salsa & bachata party at Magazine Beach Park, right outside the Nature Center. Kicking off the season with summer vibes and great music, this event welcomes everyone from curious beginners to seasoned dancers.
A beginner-friendly bachata lesson runs from 6:00 to 7:00 PM to help guests warm up with confidence.
Once the lesson ends, two simultaneous dance floors open until sunset:
- Bachata on the Deck (outside): 100% bachata under the open sky
- Salsa in the Nature Center (inside): 100% salsa in a cool indoor space
Comfortable, spin‑friendly shoes are encouraged—this isn’t a showcase, it’s a celebration where everyone can dance freely. Whether you’re just trying your first bachata step or you’ve been salsa-ing for years, you’re invited to join the party riverside.
