GR Salsa Social hosts a welcoming monthly salsa event at Fifth Street Hall in Grand Rapids. This social typically takes place on the third Sunday of the month and kicks off with a 45-minute salsa lesson starting at 6:00 PM. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to join, whether you’re a newcomer or an experienced salsero.
After the lesson, enjoy an energetic social featuring a vibrant mix of salsa, bachata, merengue, and cumbia music until 9:30 PM. The atmosphere is friendly and inclusive, perfect for connecting with others in the local Latin dance community.
No partner is needed, and there’s a suggested donation of $10 at the door. Come dance, socialize, and celebrate the rhythms of Latin music in a relaxed, welcoming space.
