Salsa Dancing at Aguanilé

About this event

Aguanilé in Nijmegen runs structured salsa and bachata lessons across three annual dance seasons: September–December, January–April, and April–July.

The upcoming season begins September 1, 2025, and consists of 12 weekly lessons per course. Each season costs €102 per person, with trial lessons available for free.

Classes cover Salsa (Beginners I–III, Intermediate I–III, Advanced I–II), Salsa Choreography, Bachata (Intermediate & Advanced), plus additional offerings like Solo Female Body Movement, Rueda, and Tropikids children’s classes.

Weekly schedules run Monday through Thursday evenings at Waalzicht (WZ) and LNT studios, with timeslots from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Friday mornings host advanced Solo classes.

Every last Sunday of the month there is an open practice afternoon, and every Friday night Aguanilé organizes the Sigui Balia social at Waalzicht, giving dancers a chance to apply what they’ve learned.

The school is led by Juan and his team of instructors, emphasizing community, fun, and the richness of Caribbean rhythms.
