About this event
Baila Las Cruces is a free, monthly Latin social presented by Visit Las Cruces with complimentary dance lessons by Sol Ballroom followed by open dancing under the sky.
Held at Plaza de Las Cruces (100 N Main St), each event begins at 7:00 PM with a beginner‑friendly Salsa and Cumbia lesson led by expert instructors. After the lesson, from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the plaza opens for dancing—no partner needed and all ages are welcome. Refreshments and concessions are available from local food trucks and nearby eateries.
This outdoor community event runs from April through November and is designed to foster cultural connection and movement—completely free of charge.
