¡Arriba! on the High Line
Salsa Lesson, Salsa Social
About this event
High above Manhattan on the High Line, ¡Arriba! returns for an open-air salsa experience that unites New Yorkers and visitors of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, this event brings vibrant Latin rhythms to the park in the sky.
The evening begins with a dance music set by DJ Mickey Pérez, followed by a salsa lesson led by Yailenne Escobar. Then, the spectacular live salsa band Cheo y Los Consentidos de la Casa takes the stage to ignite the energy. The night rounds off with DJ Mickey Pérez spinning an international mix of dance music to keep you moving. Expect three hours of rhythm, learning, community, and celebration under the open sky (or under park cover in case of rain).
Advance registration is free and encouraged, with walk-ups welcome if space allows. This is the High Line’s longest-running dance event—bring friends, family, or come solo for a memorable evening of music, movement, and joy.
