Baila Wednesdays at Solas Bar is a vibrant weekly salsa social held in the East Village. Hosted by DJ Babaloo (DJB‑NYC) and occasional guest DJs, the night begins with an 8:00 PM lesson followed by lively salsa and cha‑cha dancing starting at 9:00 PM. The atmosphere is welcoming to dancers of all levels, with a friendly, multicultural crowd enjoying smooth wooden floors and no-pressure entry. Drink specials and happy hour run through much of the evening, making it easy to socialize and dance without breaking the bank. With no cover or a modest $7–$10 general admission and optional paid entry, it’s an accessible night out. The music lineup features classic salsa, vintage mambo, charanga, and global grooves.
