Ponce Cuna de la Salsa Fest 2025 is a two-day salsa festival celebrating Puerto Rican music in the historic coastal city of Ponce.
Held at the scenic La Guancha boardwalk, the event features world-class salsa performances, free of charge. Artists include El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Grupo Niche, Oscar D’León, Aymée Nuviola, La Sonora Ponceña, Domingo Quiñones, Puerto Rican Power, Cita Rodríguez (with homage to Pete “El Conde” Rodríguez), and Pete Perignon y su Orquesta.
Produced by the Municipio de Ponce and led by Mayor Marlese Sifre Rodríguez, the festival showcases community spirit and cultural pride. Attendees can enjoy salsa rhythms from noon until late evening each day in a seaside amphitheater setting.
