On Friday, August 22, 2025, the Sausalito Seahorse will come alive with the sounds of La Orquesta Internacional, featuring original musicians from Tito’s iconic mambo and salsa ensemble. From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, this special tribute invites dancers, friends, and fans to celebrate Tito’s enduring spirit through rhythm, connection, and movement.
Born in Managua, Nicaragua, Tito Garcia became a cornerstone of the San Francisco Latin music scene—leading his band “Tito Garcia y su Orquesta La Internacional,” and performing with legendary groups like Ritmo 74 and Orquesta Rene Del Mar. A staple at Café Cocomo in the 2000s, Tito’s music brought joy to countless dancers across generations.
All ages are welcome, and food will be available for purchase.
Cover charge: $20 at the door.
