The Winter Salsa Festival returns this July in Cape Town for a weekend full of dance workshops, parties, and cultural experiences.
Taking place from July 25 to 27, 2025, the festival opens on Friday evening at Amare in Bantry Bay with a beginner salsa class, cha cha cha, and a party themed ‘Dress to the Nines.’
Workshops run all weekend at UCT Campus with classes in salsa, bachata, kizomba, musicality, spinning, styling, and more—catering to all levels. Additional highlights include a salsa jam, djembe drumming, and Sunday’s ‘Tag Top Party’ at Mojo Market in Sea Point.
This event blends structured training with community energy, making it a winter favorite in the Cape Town salsa calendar.
