Salsa & Bachata Fever is a popular Thursday night social dance event in Malmö, hosted by Love Dance Academy. Held in the ballroom of Ungdomens Hus, the event features two dance floors—one for salsa and one for bachata—and a rotating lineup of DJs and instructors.
Each evening begins with a 30-minute workshop, such as bachata sensual with instructors like Luis & Itza. This is followed by hours of social dancing with music from DJs like DJ Bravo (salsa) and DJ Carla Rosa (bachata).
The event runs from February 27 through June 5, including holidays like Kristi Himmelsfärdsdag. A special finale is held on June 5 to celebrate Sweden’s National Day.
Attendees can pay per event or purchase a discounted season pass. The venue is family-friendly, and payment is accepted via Swish or cash.
