Brass Monkey Bar in Taipei hosts a popular weekly Salsa night, welcoming both locals and expats to its spacious dance floor.
Every Tuesday, the venue clears a large area for salsa and bachata dancing. The night officially starts at 9:00 PM, with many dancers arriving early. A free beginner lesson is typically offered around 9:45 PM to help newcomers before the social dancing begins.
Hosted by DJ Marcus Aurelius, the music features a mix of salsa and bachata. The bar offers food, craft beers, and drink vouchers for early arrivals. Located just a 2-minute walk from Nanjing Fuxing MRT station (Brown & Green lines), it’s convenient for after-work dancers and night owls alike.
