The Knoxville Friday Salsa Party, hosted by Salsa Knoxville Dance Company, is a weekly celebration of Latin rhythm, movement, and community held at Kerns Food Hall.
The evening kicks off at 9:00 PM with three back-to-back mini lessons in bachata, salsa, and cumbia, led by expert instructors Waldo y Jacqui. These approachable sessions are perfect for dancers of all levels, from absolute beginners to those looking to refine their technique.
From 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, the dance floor opens up for social dancing to a vibrant mix of salsa, bachata, cumbia, and merengue, with music curated by DJ Waldo. The vibe is welcoming and energetic—no partner or prior experience needed.
Admission is just $10, whether paid in advance or at the door, and includes all three mini lessons plus full access to the party. With ample free parking and a full bar on-site, it’s a convenient and lively night out.
Held every Friday, this event is a cornerstone of Knoxville’s growing salsa scene—bringing people together through dance, culture, and joyful connection.
