Salsa Sunday at Lola’s Cuban Food is a welcoming weekly Latin dance afternoon in Fort Worth. Each Sunday starts with a free, beginner-friendly salsa class at 3:00 PM, inviting new dancers while giving regulars a chance to polish fundamentals. After the lesson, the floor opens for social dancing with a lively mix of salsa and other Caribbean rhythms in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
On the last Sunday of the month, the energy steps up with live music from Javaos Band, bringing salsa, timba, merengue, bachata, cumbia, and more right after the class. When the band wraps, the evening rolls into open mic and karaoke, keeping the community vibe going until the end of the night. Hosted by Salsa Squad – Salsa at the Gardens, this weekly gathering offers an easy, low-pressure way to connect through music and dance.
Schedule: Free salsa class at 3:00 PM; social dancing until 6:00 PM. Live band on the last Sunday, followed by open mic and karaoke.
Cost: Free admission.
