The Newcastle Salsa Congress returns for its 15th annual edition at the Holiday Inn, Seaton Burn near Newcastle upon Tyne. Across three days—Friday, January 9 to Sunday, January 11, 2026—guests can enjoy over 120 workshops spanning Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Cuban, and more, taught by world-class international and UK instructors.
Beginning with a Pre Party on Thursday, January 8 at 8:00 PM for Gold Pass holders, the festival then launches into full swing with daytime and evening workshops and all night parties in multiple rooms. The event features dedicated Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba rooms, nightly shows, performances, and after parties extending into the early morning.
Held entirely on-site at the Holiday Inn, the Congress offers complimentary parking, hotel gym/spa access, and convenient airport/train connectivity. Tickets are tiered—Gold Pass, evening passes, child discounts, and optional extras—with no booking fees.
Organised by Northern Events under the Newcastle Salsa Congress brand, this friendly atmosphere congress consistently draws enthusiastic dancers from across the UK and Europe.
