Overview:

A monthly salsa social at the Dance Loft in San Francisco organized by Tianne Frias. Lessons from 9-10:30pm with Tianne and Vimal, followed by dancing until 1:30 in the morning to the music of DJ Hong.

This is a fun little event held once a month in The Dance Loft in SF. The event is held in a small studio on the third floor of an apartment building. The space is pretty small, which means the dance floor can get pretty crowded, but it also makes for a more intimate setting.

There are dance lessons taught by Tianne Frias, who is one of the best dance instructors in the Bay Area, followed by dancing until the wee hours of the morning. There is also a kitchen in the studio with free wine, fruit, and other hors d'oeuvres. There is plenty of street parking, either on 3rd street or around the corner.

My only complaint about this event is that it gets HOT! During peak hours, the studio becomes and oven, so get ready to sweat. The dance floor is also uneven in a few places, although it's still danceable.

Overall this is a great event, and a fun place to go dancing on a Saturday night.
