Salsa and Bachata Classes at Pasadena City College

About this event

PCC Extension offers beginner salsa and bachata courses with instructor Alicia Valiente at Pasadena City College, designed for dancers with no previous experience.

The courses run for six Thursdays from October 29 through December 10, 2026, with no classes on November 26.

Beginner Salsa takes place from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, covering solo and partner dancing, rhythm, and musical connection. Beginner Bachata follows from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, focusing on partner connection and rhythm.

No previous dance experience or partner is required for either course.

Each six-session course costs $79, with registration available through PCC Extension. First-day registration is possible only if space remains, so prospective students should call before arriving.

Classes take place at Harbeson Hall on the Pasadena City College campus.

Campus parking costs $2 per day, plus a $0.50 service charge. Daily parking permits can be purchased at the yellow machines in student parking lots.
