Beginner Bachata Trial with Tierra Rítmica

About this event

Tierra Rítmica Lyon offers a beginner-friendly bachata trial class for adults on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in Lyon’s 1st arrondissement.

The 90-minute group class runs from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM and is led by instructor Anassi. Designed for complete beginners, the session follows a progressive format, beginning with a warm-up before introducing basic steps, movements, and partnerwork.

Lessons focus on developing rhythm, weight transfer, leading and following, and the essential foundations of bachata. Participants practice movements individually and with partners before applying what they have learned to music.

No partner is required, and dancers are welcome to attend alone or as a couple. Partners rotate during the class.

An optional practice session follows at 10:00 PM, offering up to 30 additional minutes to review movements and build confidence. This practice is included at no extra cost.

The first group trial class is free for this date, with advance reservation required. Places are subject to availability and group balance.

Subsequent classes cost €12 per session, €110 for a pack of 10 classes, or €300 for annual enrollment.

The class takes place at Académie Nini Theilade, 9 petite rue des Feuillants, 69001 Lyon, France. Regular classes take place on Tuesdays outside school holidays; this listing is for November 3, 2026 only.
