El Timbon is a weekly Wednesday Cuban salsa and timba social from 7:30 PM to 1 AM at Upcider in San Francisco.

The evening starts with an all-levels casino salsa class at 7:30 PM, then continues with open dancing at 9 PM while DJ Walt Digz plays timba and Cuban music. Upcider is a second-floor cider house-gastropub with hard ciders, beer, wine, and a food menu; the kitchen closes at 10:30 PM on Wednesdays.
