Salsa/Bachata Dance at Rio is a monthly Latin social hosted on the first Tuesday of every month in Fort Collins. It takes place at Rio Grande in the Agave Room upstairs (not the main restaurant).
The night is set up so guests can come early for food and drinks downstairs, then head up for dancing. A community table is typically available for newcomers who want to meet people and learn about local dance happenings.
The evening starts with a complimentary group lesson at 6:30pm, followed by open social dancing from 7:30pm. Two DJs keep the floor moving with a mix that can include salsa, bachata, merengue, and cumbia, and the event wraps at 9:30pm sharp. The event starts later in the summer.
Tickets are sold online with early-bird pricing that increases closer to the date, so attendees should check FoCoCo Events for current details before going.
