About this event

Join Kevin Johnson, Kevin J Johnson, and Shaleena Bonnell for the 13-year anniversary of SalsaExplosion, one of Minneapolis’s longest-running Latin dance parties. Held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis – Park Place, this vibrant event features 7 hours of nonstop music and dancing in a large, elegant ballroom.

Dance to a high-energy mix of Salsa, Bachata, Mambo, Merengue, Cumbia, Timba, and Cha Cha courtesy of guest DJs. The evening kicks off with a complimentary salsa lesson at 7:15 PM, followed by social dancing from 8:00 PM until 1:00 AM.

The event offers free parking and encourages attendees to dress to impress. Don’t miss this annual Latin dance celebration packed with rhythm, community, and good vibes!
