Latin Night Social at Motion Arts Center

Latin Night at Motion Arts Center in downtown San Mateo combines Friday evening classes with social dancing from 9 PM. Bachata is featured on the first and third Fridays, and salsa on the second and fourth Fridays.

Diego and Jennifer teach solo basics at 7 PM and the evening’s featured partner dance at 8 PM. Beginners are welcome and no partner is required. Light snacks and drinks are provided, and the studio has a hardwood floor and air conditioning.

Tickets are $10 for the party only, $35 for one class, $45 for one class plus the party, or $60 for two classes on the same day including the party. Register online for classes; online party ticket sales close at 8:59 PM, with tickets available at the door from 9 PM.

Street parking and city-owned garages are free after 6 PM. Check the studio’s current schedule for fifth-Friday programming.
