Viernes Cultural: Latin Night at Lugar Plaza

Viernes Cultural is a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Latin culture held at Lugar Plaza in downtown Indianapolis. This free event brings the community together for an evening of music, dance, and food in an open-air setting that welcomes guests of all ages.

The next Viernes Cultural takes place September 25 from 7:00–10:00 PM. The evening will feature live music from Hombres sin Nombre and Son de Esquina, along with a beginner-friendly dance lesson led by Jen Gaskill. Guests can enjoy salsa and other Latin rhythms while dancing beneath the lights of Lugar Plaza.

Food trucks and beverage vendors add to the festivities with a mix of Latin American cuisine, snacks, and refreshments available throughout the evening.

The event is designed with accessibility in mind, offering ADA parking, dog-friendly spaces, and convenient bike-share access via the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. Viernes Cultural is free to attend, though guests are encouraged to register in advance to help organizers plan accordingly. Front-row table seating may also be available with a small donation.
