SummerStage presents a vibrant evening featuring the legendary Puerto Rican singer Tony Vega, award-winning NYC salsa band La Excelencia, and Havana-born virtuoso Ariacne Trujillo at Coney Island Amphitheater. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with a free salsa lesson by Talia Productions dancers Jorge Riascos and Adoralynn Pagan, followed by a high-energy concert from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Tony Vega brings over 50 years of soulful salsa history, La Excelencia performs socially conscious salsa with bold arrangements, and Ariacne Trujillo offers an impressive blend of Latin jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and vocal talent. All ages are welcome, and admission is free.
