Bachata Flavour Festival 2026 is a three-day bachata festival at Malvern Town Hall in Melbourne, running from 10 AM Friday 7 August to 2 AM Monday 10 August 2026, in local time 10 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. Although the program focuses on bachata rather than salsa, the festival is relevant to Salsa Vida’s broader Latin dance audience.

Organized by Bachata Flavour, the program combines workshops and masterclasses with social dance parties throughout the festival. The teaching lineup includes national and international bachata artists Gaby y Estefy, Monika y Victor, Shawn y Vivi, and Anna Ruiz.

DJs play all styles of bachata for the social dancing, and the parties include animations and performances. The festival also brings back its reimagined Jack ’n’ Jill competitions, with activities in the Dress Circle and on the Main Hall’s parquet floor.

Street parking is available nearby. Tram routes 6 and 16 stop near Malvern Town Hall. Malvern Town Hall also has ramp access, accessible parking, and a gender-neutral accessible toilet.
