About this event
La Escapada Calpe 2027 is a mixed salsa and bachata congress held from February 26–28, 2027, at AR Diamante Beach in Calpe, Spain. The program begins at 6:00 PM on Friday and welcomes dancers of all ages and experience levels.
More than 70 workshops continue through Sunday afternoon in four simultaneous rooms, including one dedicated to beginners. The workshop and social program is split evenly between salsa and bachata. Classes include salsa, bachata, mambo, timba, Afro percussion, pachanga, styling, rumba, footwork, cha-cha, casino, and reggaeton.
Instructors include Adonis Santiago Full Project, Samuel Funflow, Ramses and Sandra, Erik and Monika, Radu Manole, Yaiza Melero, Eivynd and Daniel, Chiky Cuba, Pinuzzo, Joaquin Arteaga, Dani and Irati, Carmen Lorente, Cesar Espinosa, Andrea Vidaurre, Victor and Laura, Ricardo Sile, Selena Nievas, Jose Perez and Relli, Axel and Aina, Domi Montalvo, Abel Ruiz, Monika and Victor, Evelyn La Negra, Valeria Bartolini, Yopi Quintero, and Melonito. The lineup also features Adrian and Naiara, Mica and Fran, Kenza, Lcrew, Ramon and Andrea, Gabriele and Nicole, Cristina Camarasa and Argenis, Irene Palma and Fran, Elena Bailarte and Alex, Mabel Oriola, Maria Brotons and Eva, Kevin and Lucia, Julian and Carmen, Carlos and Libertad, Elena Khamsi, Andres and Marta, Jose and Yoly, Byron and Vero, Jorge Molina, and Sara and Javier.
DJ Kevin RG, DJ Samu, DJ La Negra, and DJ Miguelón provide music for the social program. The weekend includes two overnight parties, an outdoor social, and a Sunday matinee. The main parties run from 11:45 PM to 6:00 AM, and there are no stage shows.
The Full Pass costs €85 through September 30, 2026, €95 through November 30, €105 through January 31, 2027, €115 through February 25, and €125 at the door if capacity remains. Sales are capped at 1,000 Full Passes.
The host hotel has 500 festival accommodation places, with Hotel Roca Esmeralda serving as the overflow hotel. AR Diamante Beach advertises guest parking, underground electric-vehicle charging points, and accessible rooms.
