Vipan Salsafest & Bachata

Vipan Salsafest & Bachata is a friendly salsa and bachata social hosted by Salsa Sabrosa Dance School as part of its social event series in Lund and Malmö. The evening is open to everyone and offers a relaxed setting for dancers to connect, practice, and enjoy music together.

The event takes place on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. A beginner-friendly warm-up lesson runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, and no previous dance experience is needed. After the lesson, the floor opens for social dancing, with a welcoming atmosphere where dancers of all levels can mix freely and invite each other to dance.

Music will alternate between salsa and bachata, with a steady mix of three salsa songs followed by two bachata songs. Entry is 40 SEK, paid on site, and no pre-registration is required.

The event is held at Vipeholmshallen in Lund, a gym hall transformed into a cozy social dance space. Free parking is available, and the venue has convenient public transport connections. Snacks are included, though guests are also welcome to bring their own. Please note that the venue has a nut ban, and guests are asked to bring their own non-alcoholic drinks.
