About this event
East Austin Salsa & Bachata Night is a beginner-friendly Thursday evening class at Ballet Afrique Contemporary Dance in the Historic East Austin Cultural District. Gerard and Shauna lead a welcoming two-hour session designed for adults, couples, date nights, and first-time dancers.
The class covers salsa fundamentals, rhythm, partner connection, bachata basics, turns, movement, and musicality. No partner is needed, and the format rotates partners to help everyone build comfort and confidence.
Tickets are $15 for one class or $25 for both classes. Free parking is available at the venue, and check-in opens before the 6:30 PM class start.
