Parris Dance Monthly Dance Parties are public social dances held at Rena’s Ballroom in Gainesville, usually on the second and fourth Saturday of the month.
Doors open at 7:30 PM, and dancing runs from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM on a large floating bamboo floor. The music mix includes salsa, bachata, foxtrot, waltz, tango, rumba, cha-cha, swing and country two step.
Admission is typically $15 per person or $25 per couple, with light refreshments served at the parties. Many nights are themed throughout the year, including Fiesta, Tropical, Oktoberfest and holiday dances.
