About this event
Mojo Studio’s Wednesday salsa program gives Yakima dancers a clear weekly class path with beginner, intermediate, and practice time in one night. It is designed to be accessible for newcomers while still giving continuing students a Level II option.
Salvador (Sal) Castaneda and Primi Castaneda teach the program, which starts with Level I beginner salsa at 6:30 PM, Level II intermediate salsa at 7:45 PM, and a 30-minute practica at 8:45 PM. No partner or previous dance experience is required, and the optional partner rotation helps solo students participate.
Classes run Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 9:15 PM at Mojo Studio in Yakima. Beginners should join during Week 1 or Week 2 of the monthly four-week series, and students are asked to bring water, wear comfortable clothing, avoid flip-flops, and arrive early for first-Wednesday check-in.
