About this event
Afrodesia runs two closed, progressive Cuban salsa courses at The MAPP Centre in Reading. The 14-week courses begin on Thursday, 17 September 2026.
Beginners 1 meets from 6:45 to 7:35 PM and covers partner-work combinations and La Rueda. Beginners 2 runs from 9:15 to 10:15 PM for dancers with Cuban salsa foundations and basic rueda experience. Jerry and Esther lead the courses.
Beginners 1 costs £119 for 14 weeks, and Beginners 2 costs £133. Advance booking and payment are required, and spaces are limited.
The courses are for adults aged 18+, and no partner is needed. Free on-site parking is available, and buses 5 and 6 stop outside.
