Tampere Salsa LATAM Fest 2026

Tampere Salsa LATAM Fest brings three days of Afro-Latin dance classes, parties and cultural programming to Tampere from Friday, July 24, through Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Friday classes run from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, while Saturday and Sunday workshops take place from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The program covers salsa, son, timba, rumba, cha-cha-cha, bachata, kizomba and other Afro-Latin styles.

The teaching lineup includes Mercedes Sayut, Greechen Méndez, Silvio Leroy, Félix Torres, Guillermo Zayas, Roynet Pérez, Satu Välimäki and Silvio Jesús Quevedo.

Three social nights feature music ranging from salsa, timba, son and rumba to reggaetón, bachata, kizomba, merengue and Latin pop. DJs include DJ Pies Locos, DJ 3+2, DJ FreeKC, DJ Henkka and DJ El Tapio.

Saturday also includes a free outdoor program at Laikunlava from noon to 8:00 PM, with dance instruction, social dancing, Caribbean food and treats.

Individual classes cost €27.50. The full dance pass is €195, while the full dance and party pass is €215. Day passes, a €40 party pass and individual nightly party tickets are also available.

Rakelandia is the main festival venue, with additional programming at Teerenpeli and Laikunlava. Teerenpeli is restricted to guests age 20 and older, and the same Friday or Saturday party ticket can be used at both Rakelandia and Teerenpeli.

The venues are within walking distance of Tampere Central Station. Festival participants can also receive a 10% room-rate discount at Scandic Tampere Koskipuisto.
