VHS Mainz Salsa, Bachata & Merengue Course

About this event

This six-session beginner partner-dance course introduces salsa alongside bachata and merengue at vhs-Haus Turnhalle in Mainz.

Classes take place on Tuesdays from September 8 through October 27, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM. Instructor Stefan Wendt guides participants through basic salsa steps, turns and figures in an approachable format.

No previous dance experience is required. Partners should register together, although individual registration may be possible by prior arrangement.

The course fee is €98. During construction, access to the venue is through the temporary entrance on Bauerngasse. Brückenplatz and Schusterstraße are the nearest public-transport stops, and participants are encouraged to bring comfortable shoes and a drink.
