About this event
Salsaholics: West Palm Beach Edition brings a full night of salsa dancing to Starpoint Dancesport in Wellington, presented by Miami Salsa Events and Starpoint Dancesport.
The evening begins at 9:00 PM with an On2 salsa class taught by Rafelito El Rumberito, giving dancers a chance to warm up and work on timing before the social begins.
Late-night dancing follows with music by DJ Mike Calderon and DJ Siete, plus live percussion from Eduardo Cano on congas and Joseph Watts on timbales. Performances by Mel In Motion are also part of the program.
A Jack & Jill social dancing contest adds a competitive element, with a $200 prize for the winning couple.
Advance admission is $20 through August 14, with tickets priced at $25 at the door. The venue offers an onsite bar and free parking, and the event continues until 2:00 AM.
