Bachata Level 1 at Comfama Pedregal is a 10-hour beginner course designed for dancers who want to build a solid foundation in bachata.

The weekly Saturday class runs from 2:00 PM to 2:59 PM and covers musicality, basic steps, turns, sequences, coordination, posture and styling. No previous dance experience is required. Comfama describes the course as a way to develop greater confidence, fluidity and connection while learning in a group setting.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and suitable shoes, and bring a towel and water. The course is open to dancers age 13 and older. Participants under 14 must have a parent or guardian present at the venue during class.
