Bachata 101 Crash Course at Distrito Federal

Latin Dance Factory hosts Bachata 101 on the fourth Thursday of each month at Distrito Federal in downtown Houston. The 2.5-hour crash course is designed for complete beginners who want to learn the essentials of bachata in a single evening.

Check-in begins at 7:15 PM, with instruction running from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Christian Franco leads the class through basic steps and timing, leading and following, simple turns and partner combinations. No previous dance experience or partner is required.

Early online pricing starts at $25 for ladies and $35 for gentlemen, while couples can register for $55. A two-for-one ladies option is available for $40. General admission is $40 per person if space remains.

Class sizes are limited to help maintain a balanced leader-to-follower ratio, and single-gentleman registration may close one day before the event. The class is open to guests age 18 and older.
