About this event

PARKCHATA is the final lesson and social of its 2026 summer season, held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pier 58 Plaza in Seattle’s Waterfront Park.

An introductory lesson runs from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a social with an even mix of Bachata and Salsa. DJ Armónic performs alongside a second DJ and live-music artist.

The event is free, family-friendly, and open to all ages. Children are welcome with adult supervision. Food and beverages are available during most Waterfront Park events, with public restrooms and a water station onsite.

Street parking is free on Sundays, while paid street spaces and nearby garages are also available. The park can be reached by bus, light rail, ferry, water taxi, or the seasonal waterfront shuttle. Pier 58 is accessible, and dancers should choose shoes suitable for the smooth-concrete plaza.
