Salsaholics brings a full Miami-style salsa night to Starpoint Dance Sport in Wellington on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
The night kicks off at 9:00 PM with an On2 Salsa class taught by Rafelito El Rumberito, then rolls straight into social dancing with music by DJ Mike Calderon. Live percussion keeps the energy high with Eduardo Cano on congas and Joseph Watts on timbales throughout the night.
For dancers who love a little friendly competition, the Jack N Jill Social Dancing Contest features randomized partners and a $100 prize. The lineup also includes a performance by Emily Bodden and a live salsa singer from Cali, Colombia: Nathaly Candela.
Tickets are $20 pre-sale (through 9/4) and $25 at the door, and free parking is available. Doors open into a late-night run, with dancing scheduled from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
