Monday Salsa Classes at Dance City

About this event

This adult Salsa class series runs every Monday during the autumn term, from 7 September through 14 December 2026. Classes take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Dance City in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Coco Vega teaches both levels. The 7:00 PM improvers class develops footwork, rhythm, Salsa beats and partner work for dancers with some Salsa experience. The 8:00 PM beginners class starts with basic steps and rhythm, then introduces partner patterns and simple turns.

Both classes are for adults, beginners are welcome at 8:00 PM, and no partner is required. Each class costs £11.

Grainger Town Multi Storey Car Park is next to Dance City, although there is no public parking directly outside the building. Dance City is about a five-minute walk from Newcastle Central Station, with St James Metro also nearby.

The building has level access, lifts, accessible toilets and showers, an induction loop, and accessible parking on the ground level of Grainger Town car park.
